COMMON EUROPE CONGRESS EVENT PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

The Promoter

  1. The promoter of this prize draw is Service Express Europe Limited (a company registered in England and Wales under company number 02146732), whose registered office is at Franklin Court, Priory Business Park, Bedford MK44 3 JZ United Kingdom (“Service Express” “we”, “us”, “our”).

The Promotion

  1. The title of the prize draw is CEC Prize draw (Promotion). 
  2. The prize is Nintendo Switch OLED OR $250 gift card (Prize). 
  3. By entering the Promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms. Please read them carefully.
  4. Service Express reserves the right to alter or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions, or to void, suspend, cancel the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. Any such changes will be communicated via Service Express’s website, and we will ensure participants are not unfairly disadvantaged.  
  5. Service Express reserves the right to refuse entry, disqualify or refuse to award the Prize to any entrant that breaches these terms, engages in inappropriate behaviour in relation to this Promotion, is suspected of entering the Promotion fraudulently or dishonestly or breaches the Promotion’s intention or spirit. 

Eligibility

  1. The Promotion is open to attendees at [Common Europe Convention] (Event) who are aged 18 or over. It excludes any: (a) exhibitor at the Event (Exhibitor); (b) employee or agent of an Exhibitor; (c) employee or agent of Service Express; or (d) members of the immediate families or households of those described at (a)-(c). 
  2. By entering, you confirm you’re eligible to participate and claim the Prize. Service Express may request proof of eligibility and disqualify you if it’s not provided when asked. 

How to enter

  1. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed.  
  2. The Promotion will run for the period of the Event, being from [2/6/2025] to [5/6/2025] inclusive (Promotion Period). All entries must be received by [12:00 CET] on the last day of the Promotion Period (Closing Date). All Promotion entries submitted after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and will not be counted. 
  3. Entries to the Promotion are made automatically when you scan your badge or input your details at Service Express stand or kiosk at the Event during the Promotion Period. 

The Prize

  1. The winner will receive the Prize.  
  2. The Prize is subject to availability. Service Express reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value to the Prize if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. No cash alternative will be offered, and the Prize is non-transferable. 

How we choose the winner

  1. The winner will be the valid entry chosen by random draw supervised by an independent person after the conclusion of the Promotion Period.  
  2. The decision of Service Express is final (including any decision not covered by these terms) and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. 

The winner

  1. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) before 30/6/2025. The winner shall provide Service Express with shipping details (if applicable) as soon as possible after being notified of their win in order to receive the Prize.   
  2. Service Express will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their Prize within thirty days of being notified by Service Express, then the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and Service Express will be entitled to select the next eligible entrant (selected from the valid entries that were received before the Closing Date) by the same selection mechanic as outlined above. 
  3. The Prize will be sent to the winner within thirty working days after being picked following conclusion of the Promotion Period and the provision of shipping details by the winner. 
  4. Details of the winner (consisting of the winner’s surname and county of residence only) shall be available to anyone who emails [email protected] within one month of the end of the Promotion Period, unless the winner has notified Service Express in writing that they objects to such publication (save that the winner acknowledges that their details may still be shared with the Advertising Standards Authority on request). 

Privacy Policy

  1. Personal data supplied by entrants during the course of this Promotion will only be processed by Service Express as set out in our Privacy Policy available at: https://serviceexpress.com/policies/privacy/

Our Liability to you

  1. Service Express and anyone working with us won’t be responsible to compensate the winner for any loss, damage, injury or death that happens as a result of taking up the Prize, except in cases of negligence by Service Express or those working with us. This does not affect your legal rights. 

Resolving disputes with us

  1. You have several options for resolving disputes with us: 
    • Contact us. Please email us at [email protected] and we will do their best to resolve any problems you have. 
    • You can go to court. These terms and this promotion are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in. 
    • Local laws still apply. As a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these terms, including this clause, affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
